Summertime in Oregon -
especially in the Willamette Valley is beautiful.
But so are the fall months.
Fall is Coming!
Yesterday it was about 92*F where we live, so when I got off of work I took the pups to the river!
They had tons of fun! But check out the leaves! They're already starting to drop!
We then went to a nearby farm for some fresh veggies for dinner, the dogs of course got to meet the nice lady at the farm stand.

We're thankful for the beautiful weather we've had, and for fall which we love!

Oh how fun! My husband and I would love to visit Oregon. I can't imagine living somewhere so beautiful. I love Fall, even though we don't see much in the way of changing seasons here in Florida. Some days it gets nice and cool here and I can't wait to get out in it.
ReplyDeleteFlorida is nice, my brother-inlaw and his wife moved there from Oregon. :-) I love the tropical weather and places they go kayaking. I think I'd miss the changing season though.

As much as we love swimming in the hot summer sun, we can't wait to jump in the leaves in the crisp Fall air!!

We live n Miami so the leaves turn a different shade of green . Once we have the first big rain in October, it'll still be warm but at least we can breathe. Then always with the hope of getting at least 60 degrees weather. Purrs

ReplyDeleteWe live in Chicago and our summer has been mild and cool some days. A few downright hot days, but not enough of the good hot days. I think we made it into the 90's once or twice. The problem is, our winters. If we don't have a good solid month of hot weather (I mean the kind that the sun shines down so hard on you that you can smell your skin burning) then we can't be ready for the fall/winter. I like to get tired of the summer first and then welcome fall.
I saw your comment over on my blog about finding a team in Salem- Is it my team, Animal House? If so, I hope to see you at one of our practices soon! For that matter, if you are in the Eugene area, I am trying to arrange teaching a flyball intro class down there.
