Whew! A whole week between posts, sorry guys! Like I've mentioned before we're prepping for a move. Can't wait! It's still a ways out though probably late spring, but we've been crazy busy dealing with putting our pieces together getting our home market ready, house hunting, etc... you know, all that adult stuff. 

So if we aren't as active I hope you forgive me. But I do want to keep up our Flashy Friday posts!

Week 1

Hey fur-friends! Welcome to Flashy Friday!

Part of our 2016 New Years Resolution is to really commit to our trick training. The book 101 Dog Tricks by, Kyra Sundance has been sitting on my coffee table for over a year now. Poor book, it's been sitting there. All alone, collecting dog/cat hair, slobber (the dogs fling far and wide!), and dust. Barely cracked open, a couple pages marked *things we want to learn*.

Well actually it's gray and rainy outside...but that doesn't stop us from dreaming of the fluffy white stuff!

Dante and Ziva love the snow! Ziva gets cold pretty quick, but running around like a maniac helps her stay roasty toasty warm. Usually though when we go out in the snow the pups get to wear their cozy jackets and snow boots thanks to UltraPaws you can check out our review if you want by clicking the link!

Friday Trick Challenge!

Weeks 1 & 2

As part of our New Year Resolutions we joined a trick group on Facebook! If you want to check it out, the group is called "2016 Dog Trick Challenge".

Well actually we joined two different trick groups but i'm doing the best in this one so far, haha! I think I was a bit too ambitious. But what I love about being in the trick group is that it is the perfect way to keep me accountable to working Dante and Ziva's brains, and using my 101 Dog Tricks book by Kyra Sundance.

Dante has his first tournament coming up!! We've been helping Koira's mom and fellow blogger of; So Fly "My Life With Flyball Dogs", train up a new team in our area and it's been going unexpectedly better than we thought! Dante has been the perfect demo dog for the new group, we've made new friends, and it looks like we may have our own competing team soon!  We've been running under the team name "Animal House" but Koira's mom has really wanted to start her own team and that dream has finally come true for her!

We're now running under team name "Apupalyptic Flyball" it's awesome!  I even helped to design the logo.

It's been maybe a year since the Dante and Ziva have practiced mushing on dry land.  It was my first time on cross country skies.  It was my second time EVER on skies.  For these reasons, I was sooo proud of my pups.
