Rain, Rain, Whatever.
Dante, Ziva and I made a list of ways we can deal with our lovely wet weather.
We can either sit and stare longingly outside wishing for sunshine...
Featuring Jack, who is doing great in his new home! |
We can daydream of sunnier times....Ahhhh...the sun...
Or we can get out there and make the best of it!
Ok ladies and gents, lets get those coats on, grab your umbrellas and lets get going!
"Did someone say adventure?" |
It's time to play! Who cares if we get wet, a dogs gotta do what a dogs gotta do!
Besides the trails are much emptier when it's raining.
Happy Fit Dog Friday Furfriends!!
Rain never hurt anyone!
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteI would much rather take a walk in the rain. It's been bone chilling cold here in my area of NY, and so the dogs don't get walked :(
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine your guy's cold!! Yikes!!
DeleteAt our house we are out in all types of weather, and we usually feel if we mentally prepare to be going out in the rain or other nasty weather, it can actually be fun!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a smart mama! If I can psych myself up to being excited then yes it can be fun, I just get sooo tired of being wet though! LoL
DeleteGreat pictures! Barley and I usually choose the cuddling option on rainy days--she hates to go outside if it's raining, so it's probably a good thing she's not an Oregon dog!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! With how much rain we get I bet she's definitely happy to not be here!
DeleteYou won't melt, as my mom says! I just love Ziva's pink nails. <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Nola!!
DeleteThat's why I love rain...it keeps the riff raff on the trails to a minimum. :)
ReplyDeleteThey sure look like they don't care about a little bit of rain!
ReplyDeleteDepends on their mood! Sometimes Ziva is a real priss about it! :-)
DeleteThere you go, that's the right kind of attitude!! Thankfully we didn't have a lot of rain lately, but it's been really cold for our standards (17-32 F).
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is cold! Bundle up tight!
DeleteGreen mac and cheese is made with green veggies like spinach and broccoli and only a little dairy. The green make the sauce look green. That is how you get a toddler to eat all her veggies!
ReplyDeleteYummy!!
DeleteI always say I'm going to do better about not letting the rain keep us indoors. I have improved...if it's not pouring we'll still play in the yard; but I'd still love to just head out on a nice quiet walk in the rain (I still need to get raincoats for the crew though).

I can totally understand. I have towels piled up at every door thanks to the rain, Dante and Ziva don't give us much of an option. They go stir crazy if I don't get them out!
