Great News!! Dante Update!

Dante's Big Snoot!

Turns out Dante has a really bad infection in his nose! Hooray it isn't something worse! But poor guy, no wonder he's sensitive about his nose.

Today we begin a heavy dose of antibiotics and probiotics, I'll probably pick up some goats milk as a treat for him since it helps with tummy upset issues and it's a favorite treat of his. Then after his antibiotics run their course we'll be setting up a re-check appointment to see where we're at.

Hopefully it'll be all cleared up, I am not sure about the exposed bone in his nose though. The vets office was crazy busy when I got my initial phone call this morning so I left a message asking a question for the vet.  The nurse though was saying hopefully as the infection clears up his nose should **fingers crossed** begin healing and cover that bone back up.

In the meantime, he's still acting like normal so not much has changed. We borrowed a really cute blue penguin humidifier from a friend, I'm hoping it will help him to stop sneezing so much.

Thank you for the love and well wishes furfriends!!

  8. I'm behind on my reading, so just read your first post about this...I saw that you said 5-7 days for results so switched right to your home page to see if there was news! I'm so glad it was good news, and I hope his infection clears up easy and he's feeling all better soon.
