So normally we get all dressed up so that we can greet the trick or treaters and pass out candy. I've always loved seeing the little princesses, pirates, and superheros!
This year is a bit different though, it's the first year we aren't passing out candy. And to be honest I think even if we bought a bag we'd have to eat it all ourselves! Living out in the hills in the country I don't think we'll see any kiddos.
One of the things I love about where we moved is that it's a small town and it reminds me of the small town I grew up in. I didn't grow up in a family that trick or treated, we'd pass out candy when we got home but our Halloween's typically consisted of going to a local harvest festival which is what it seems like this town does - although i'm sure their will be plenty of the door to door stuff happening around the main portion of the town!
SO this year we're staying in, hiding from the cold wet outdoors, and probably watching a movie with Dz Dog Dad when he gets home!
And while we opted out of costumes this year, we had to get in on the fun with some spooky bandannas made by grandma!
Have fun and stay safe tonight!!
