Diamond Lake, Oregon

Recently we visited Diamond Lake, if you ever get a chance to go you should!

From our walk around the lake.

Sometimes you need to just have a break! We found a nice quiet spot at the far end of the lake for a nice picnic lunch and walk.

Their is a nicely paved bike path that goes all the way around the lake, we didn't go the full distance around but we did go for a nice hour and a half walk while Dz Dog Dad hit the trails with his mountain bike.

We also found some fun picturesque spots, my favorite of which was Teal Lake - a small lake *more like a pond really...* that is nestled in the trees near Diamond Lake just a short walk off of the paved path.

It was such a nice day, truly relaxing and a great way to end our weekend.

The temperatures here in Southern Oregon have been unseasonably low for our area, they are saying this means we'll have a super cold winter.

Dante and I certainly hope so!
That makes for good snowshoeing and skijoring weather!
