Freeze dried food is one of our most favorite things!! We are always happy to try different brands, some brands are 100% freeze dried protein that may be mixed with freeze dried veggies and or fruits, and some like Stewart Raw Naturals is actually a mix of ingredients that is blended together and then freeze dried to provide a complete and balance meal.

One of the reasons we don't feed raw...among many reasons (we'll save that for another time) is you have to make sure your dog is getting all of the proper nutrients in their diet. This means researching all of your ingredients and knowing their nutritional breakdown and then tayloring it to your dogs diet.   No thank you. I don't have time for that. However freeze dried raw makes things a lot easier.

Why do we love Stewart so much? Let me count the ways.

• It's a perfect bite sized treat to use for training.
• No mess!
• Has a wonderful pleasant smell, which is kind to my nose but still gets the pups attention!
• Single source protein "lamb" in our case - with a mixture of other healthy wholesome ingredients including: broccoli, apples, carrots, flaxseed....etc.
• Makes for a great food topper if you don't feed raw.

Definitely a big hit at our house!
