Where Have We Been?
Doggy Disneyland!
Doggy Disneyland!
So we did it! We're all moved out! Mail switched over, boxes packed, storage unit full to capacity, keys handed over and now we're temporarily living with my parents. What a crazy month it's been...Whew.. I keep thinking a break is coming but it doesn't look like it.
I apologize for our lack of visiting our fellow blog buddies! I don't have internet where we are staying since it's super rural, and that means my closest internet is a drive into town to sit in a coffee shop for a few hours - not that that's a bad thing but we've had a lot going on recently as i'm sure you can imagine.
The cats have adjusted quicker and much better than Dz Dog Dad and I had anticipated.

And the dogs are absolutely in HEAVEN at grandma's house. With five fenced in acres to run around in, their is no shortage of adventures to be had.
I mean it's practically Doggy Disneyland! Tons of things to sniff, pee on, birds to chase, grass to eat, and tons of new things to learn.
For example, the strange tall dog like creatures - Ziva freaked out alarm barking and charging the front door (don't worry she was in the house) - she scared the daylights out of everyone! Yah, those were just deer.
Then the other evening we heard the elk calling to eachother, WOW what an amazing song they sing. That of course had Dante and Ziva's full attention, head tilting side to side to best hear the sound. Kind of like radars. Do your dogs do that?
We've also been taking a lot of day trips since it's a two hour drive, house hunting and checking out the new area we'll be moving to in the future when we find something. Sadly the city isn't quite as dog friendly as I would like; it took us a while of walking around but we eventually found a cafe that let me sit with the dogs outside for some lunch. Being that the area is so much hotter than they are used to, the dogs appreciated the cool grass and shade to lay in while we ate.
Our routine sure has been shook up, but we're taking it like champs! Every night Dante and Ziva are exhausted, i'm so thankful that they've been so great about the move. Dogs are amazing at adapting to their surroundings.
More fun filled adventures soon! In the meantime, check out our Instagram! I'm much more active there recently since it's easy to do from my phone.
I sure hope the right home finds you soon, so you and your husband, dogs and cats can get settled in. I sure wish the new area was more dog friendly. Is there an area not right in the city that might be dog friendly?
